This letter is late in coming; I should have written months ago. I LOVE KNUCKLEBONES! It has become my favorite magazine. I picked up my first copy on a swag table at Origins last July. I leafed through it and read a few articles in my hotel room that night. The next day I went back and picked up every different issue I could find at the convention (they were lying all over the place; smart move) and read more that night. The next day I subscribed at your booth. When I got home I called and got my hands on every back issue. I read this magazine like a novel, cover to cover including the ads.
I had previously subscribed to another game magazine for 28 years but I’ve let that title expire in favor of Kbones. I like that your magazine has many more game reviews and recommendations. I like the articles on hosting game nights and clubs. I like the history of games and backgrounds on companies and designers. The writing is brisk and engaging. The photography/artwork is top of the line. I wish you many, many years of successful publication. You are providing great inspiration and resource to those of us avid gamers who are not a part of the industry. My game collection is growing more wisely thanks to your insightful reviews. I can determine what would not appeal to me or my group and I can steer clear of drek. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for a GREAT publication!

I am a 38-year-old pharmacist and my main hobby is collecting comics and toys (including boardgames, of course). I have to tell you this: Although I am a subscriber to the majority of the magazines that are toy-related, your magazine is something that was long missing. You are here to fill this gap and you are doing it with great success.
I really love your magazine. It is so well written, with attractive layout and so heart-warming.
Although I am good in “saying things,” I cannot find the words to describe you my feelings when I was reading the magazine. Needless to say I read the whole magazine, even parts that I usually ignore in other similar-themed magazines.
I have already asked to my local comic shop from where I buy most of my comics and games to reserve a copy of Knucklebones for me every two months.
One last word: My warmest congratulations!

Knucklebones is one of my new favorite magazines because it presents a lot of information difficult to find through other sources. The online world is great, but there’s nothing like sitting down to a fresh issue of Kbones and reading it cover to cover, studying the ads and being exposed to new games and articles.

Can I just say I love this mag? It’s like portable BGG for me. I mean in a good way. Thanks, Knucklebones! —adamw
Knucklebones is an awesome mag. I found it in my local book store, and I find myself checking weekly for the next issue. Subscription to this excellent mag is assured! They cover both European and American games as well as old games, where to get replacement pieces/parts, and much more to do with gaming. —Beholm
I too would recommend Knucklebones. I really enjoy it and find that it covers light fare along with much heavier things and is a quite entertaining magazine. Highly recommended. —Tygo
I got the first issue of Knucklebones free at the Chicago Toy and Game fair in 2005, and I subscribed immediately. I've since got an extension to the subscription when Games International went under, and now another extension upon Games Quarterly collapse. AND I’ve re-upped my subscription myself for two more years recently. I think I’m good through 2009 by now, and I couldn’t be happier. I LOVE the magazine. —JoeyHemlock
Not only is this an enormously kind gesture, but the Knucklebones are just great people all ways around. I just spent the week with them at GTS.
If you are a Games Quarterly subscriber, you are going to LOVE Knucklebones. If you already are a Knucklebones subscriber, you know what I am talking about. If you are NOT a Knucklebones subscriber, please subscribe and support not only a great magazine but the awesome people behind it. —TheGameCzar
